Lumiette originally designed these 4mm thick light panels for TV sets. Companies opted to go with LED illumination instead but now Lumiette is looking to place these eco-friendly lights in homes and with claims that they cast as much light as an LED but at 10% of the cost they might just find some buyers. Green households will also love their 90% efficency rating.
