The EcoDrain is a heat exchanger that attaches to your shower drain. Clean water is circulated in pipes around the still hot drainage water from your shower and it consequently absorbs some of the energy from the drainage water.

This water becomes luke warm and is the same water that comes out of your shower head when you run cold water. Consequently, it requires less “hot” water to get your shower to its optimal temperature.
